Paulina Rubio Suing Telemundo For Breach Of Contract On ‘La Voz Kids’

Paulina Rubio is in yet another legal dispute and this time she is suing Telemundo for their breach of contract.

The lawsuit notes that there was a contract that was “agreed orally and in email correspondence” of $1.325 million for Rubio’s appearance as a returning coach and mentor on the second season of La Voz Kids. The problem is that when Telemundo was presented with the opportunity to replace her for someone far less expensive, they broke the contract.

According to reports, Rubio is demanding at least $1 million for breach of contract and an additional $100,000 for using clips of her from the first season in television advertisements for Gain laundry detergent.

According to HuffPost Voces, David Alvarado, the Vice Presidnet of Entertainment Publicity for Telemundo responded to Paulina’s legal action by saying, “The lawsuit filed by Paulina Rubio has no merit. Telemundo doesn’t have any agreement with her for a second season of La Voz Kids.”

What do you think, should Paulina go forth with the lawsuit? Let us know in the comment section below.
