Héctor Camacho’s Mother Is Not Happy With Daddy Yankee

Word is out that Daddy Yankee is planning on making a movie chronicling the life of deceased boxer, Héctor “Macho” Camacho and Camacho’s mother is totally against it.

In a recent interview with “El Gordo Y La Flaca,” Camacho’s mother stated that Daddy Yankee has never asked permission to shoot the film.

“Don’t be fresh, don’t be disrespectful. If he does the movie without coming to me first, I will sue him. That’s not right…that everyone tries to get a piece of my son, for money, it’s disrespectful. Better yet, why not make him a song?,” she said.

Héctor Camacho is arguably one of the best boxers to ever come out of Puerto Rico. In 2012 at age 50, Camacho was shot in his hometown of Bayamón, Puerto Rico and clinically pronounced brain-dead. Four days later, his mother requested that he be taken off life support. With 79 wins and only six losses in his whole 30-year-long career, this is definitely a story that will be chronicled in movie form at some point or another. Will Daddy Yankee be the one to do it? That is the question.
