Director Diego Luna Says He Is Losing Hair Over The Cesar Chavez Film

Many are excited for the March 28th release of the Cesar Chavez film and for director Diego Luna, the release will be a happy relief.

The Mexican actor, Diego Luna, who directed the film and has been working on this project for the last four years admits that it has been a great challenge. He recently opened up stating that he was losing a passion for acting, but directing the film brought it all back. “Directing has been the most exciting thing that has happened to me lately in life. Directing this has been the biggest challenge that has played in my career.” he recently told Univision.

“It’s when I’ve had to use my actor skills more than anywhere else, when you have to pretend you know everything. And then you go home and go to bed and realize you cannot sleep because you don’t know what’s best. It’s a struggle of fighting with your fears, and you lose hair, but at the same time it’s very intense in a very good way,” he shared with Harvard News.
The movie comes out in less than three weeks and stars Michael Peña as American farm worker, labor leader and civil rights activist Cesar E. Chavez.
